People can lose their teeth for a variety of reasons, with the most prevalent being periodontal disease and tooth decay.  Dentures are fabricated to replace these missing teeth, whether conventionally or by attaching to existing teeth or implants.  No one enjoys losing their teeth, but in dentures there is an option to help offset the loss of your natural dentition.

There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, some of the normal functionality and appearance return and one just carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures, especially in the lower arch.

The entire mouth is examined and a determination is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which, if any, will remain. Dr. Campbell or Dr. Hickey will give you all your options and recommend which type of denture they feel will give you the best result.
